How to Connect ENSON 2500 / 3100 / 3300 to Wi-Fi ?
Enson 2500 / 3100 / 3300 can be used in wi-fi network by attaching a wi-fi dongle. There is a one time effort on configuring the Dongle for the network. From next boot no setting up is required.
- Attach Wi-Fi USB Adapter in USB port ( Supported Models : Netis WF2150/2123/2111, EDiMax EW-7612UAn V2 ).
- Open the “wi-fi network Connection” from the Right corner of the tray. (You shall find 2 icons over there - the left one for Wired connection and the right one for wi-fi).
- Go to “Preference” tab and Click “Add”.
- Browse the “Network name (SSID)”, and Select the available wi-fi network ( eg : Ncs-WIFI ). Give the relevant Network Key ( also referred as security Key / password ).
- Select General Tab and give the IP Address (192.168.1.20, Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0, Gateway- 192.168.1.254), and save the configuration. If the network has a DHCP server select “obtain IP address automatically”
- Select Preference, choose the Network and “Connect”. If the configuration is correct it should connect to the network.
- Your ENSON device is now fully ready to use in Wi-Fi environment.
- On Re-Boot it shall automatically connect to the available wi-fi network.
- If you have more than one wi-fi zone you can set them up and move them on priority. On every boot it shall check the availability as per sequence and connect to the first available connection.
- If you change the wi-fi adapter it shall automatically configure itself. No setting up is required.
- On Re-Boot it shall automatically connect to the available wi-fi network.
